Exciting news over at Buffer 🎉 We've been working on adding RSS feeds to Buffer, making it even easier to discover and share great content. This feature is currently available in our open Beta, and we just rolled out some quality-of-life updates! Now you can: ✅ Subscribe to individual feeds ✅ Group feeds into collections ✅ Use the new Explore option to discover well-known feeds to follow It’s not quite ready for a full launch yet, but if you’d like to try it out, just enable Beta features and start adding your favorite feeds. We'd love to hear your feedback! 🚀

The best time to post on Facebook is … really, really early. 🌅 We analyzed 1 million Facebook posts to uncover the best and worst times to post for maximum engagement (as you probably know by now, we like to do this). Early mornings win across the board, but there's a fair bit of nuance in our analysis. If you'd like to see the full breakdown of the best (and worst) posting times, Check out our latest YouTube video and blog post. 🔗s in the comments! #FacebookMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #BestTimeToPost #FacebookGrowth

Most of us have been nudged back into an app by a notification or email, but not all triggers are created equal when taking about re-engaging your users. At Buffer, our team leans on manufactured triggers (i.e., those artificially created by marketing and product)to re-engage our users. These fall into five categories: 🔹 Time-based: "It’s been 7 days since your last post" 🔹 Change-based: "You haven’t scheduled anything in a while" 🔹 Peer-based: "Your teammate left a comment on your post" 🔹 Location-based: "You installed the app. Try scheduling on mobile" 🔹 Programmatic: "Your Instagram data is ready for review" These triggers are all examples of ways our team reignites engagement and deepens product usage, making lifecycle marketing a powerful tool for user retention and ongoing product engagement. #GrowthMarketing #Retention #LifecycleMarketing #PLG #Growth

Here are 3️⃣ prompts if you're keen to create new LinkedIn content for this week: 1. Share a career achievement — what was the story behind it? 2. How did you land your current role (or if you’re a business owner, what steps did you take to get started)? 3. Share something unfinished you're working on and ask for feedback. Which of these will you use? 👀

Every Buffer teammate can expense $250 per year to experiment with and use AI tools. We recently added this stipend, and the Buffer team has loved it. Read on to hear directly from Jenny Terry, our Head of Finance and Business Operations, about why we created this stipend. Don't forget to tag her in the comments with any questions you have. ⬇️ "I knew AI was becoming a bigger part of our workflows, but I was genuinely surprised by the excitement from our team when we added this stipend! As it turns out, many teammates were already paying out of pocket to explore AI tools—investing their own money just to experiment and stay ahead. That realization made this stipend feel even more meaningful. It’s not just about covering costs—it’s about evolving the way we support our team and ensuring they have the resources to work smarter, not harder. And we’re already seeing the impact: ✨ Content Team: Using AI for research and ideation while maintaining our unique voice. ✨ Engineering Team: Boosting productivity with AI-assisted coding. ✨ Customer Advocacy Team: Exploring AI-powered tools to enhance customer interactions. What’s even better? Teammates are sharing their discoveries in an internal Slack channel, turning individual experiments into collective learning. This has been a great reminder that sometimes the best company perks aren’t just about offering something new, but about recognizing and supporting what people are already doing. Curious—have AI tools become an essential part of your workflow yet? I’d love to hear what’s been working for you!"

We just wrapped up our monthly company All-Hands, where I shared February’s results. At first glance, our leading indicators—signups, activations, and new customers—showed a 7% month-over-month decline. But once we adjusted for the shorter month (hello, 28 days!), the picture shifted—February actually *outperformed* January. While prepping these numbers, I was reminded how easy it is to take surface-level metrics at face value. Digging deeper into the data provided a clearer, more accurate story about our growth trends. Stay tuned for more details on our February results! 🚀

We're working on re-building Buffer's Public API, and we've asked our engineering team what some of their favourite developer experiences have been. I figured this is also a good opportunity to collect feedback more broadly from the developers I'm connected to on LinkedIn 🙏 1️⃣ What products or services have you worked with that have had a great developer experience? 2️⃣ What made the experience stand-out to you (documentation, sandbox environment, ease of coding, etc.)? For those curious, I will share the results from our internal survey publicly when I have them!
